>>TAP, TAP, TAP

this thing on?

Is today seriously the 22nd??  Holy crap...where has summer gone?

This month has been busy busy.  I have been home only a few short days this entire month.  No joke...I've slept in my own bed only a handful of times the entire month of July.

I can't really complain though.  I think I do better when I'm busy.

So, what have I been up to all month?  Here's a peek....

Local Rodeo.
Always fun to be had at the rodeo.  Not to mention the deliciousness that is kettle corn and snow cones.

Bar J Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
We went to the Bar J Chuckwagon and watched the Bar J Wrangler perform.  If you ever have the chance to see them perform, jump on it.  They are a hoot!

Climbing in Jackson Hole.
This is a lot harder than it looks.  Nearing 30 years old = no muscle strength whatsoever.  The problem is, once you climb up, you have to get back down.

This is my favorite picture....my grandma helping my aunt climb.

Shooting with Best Friends.
This was so much fun.  I never thought I would enjoy shooting, but I had a great time.  I even managed to hit the target a few times....not too shabby.  Plus, we got to hang out with two of the best peeps I know.

Cheney Family Reunion.
Look at these kids.  I LOVE my nieces and nephews!  Aren't they just the cutest things you've ever seen!?!  Don't they look like they need another little tiny baby cousin to play with?  I agree.  Hopefully we can get on that soon.

4-H Camp.
That's right...I went to 4-H camp.  Surprisingly, I had a splendid time.  I thought I wouldn't because, well, I don't like camping and I was also terrified of being mauled by a grizzly.  The kids were darling, they got along so well, and I had a great time.  And, I didn't get eaten by a bear.  However, a grizzly was spotted on our way out of camp the last day....dun, dun, dun....

Lastly, we are again knee deep in another house project.  This spring, as you may know, was super super soggy wet, resulting in a wet basement.  With the smell becoming gradually worse, we decided to bite the bullet and tear up our basement floor.  Doesn't it look fun?  More to come on this later...

Well, there you have it. My July so far. There is still lots more fun to be had. In a few short days I will be consumed with county fair and then state fair, but I will do my best to include you in on all the fun!

Happy weekend to you!!!
