Last Sunday I kissed the husband goodbye, left the safety of my home and entered into a world I had never before experienced in such depth...the world of State Fair. I spent EIGHT
sheep shows,
beef shows,
goat shows,
horse shows,
swine shows,
poultry shows,
rabbit shows,
cat shows,
dog shows,
fashion revues,
purple ribbons,
blue ribbons,
red ribbons,
cowboy boots,
cowboy hats,
angry parents,
happy kids,
mad kids,
sad kids,
tired kids,
tired parents,
cow pies,
smelly barns
hot weather,
cotton candy,
snow cones,
restless nights,
clowns,
carnies,
and lots and lots of fun!!!
In approximately 365 days I get to do it all again....
Isn't life funny? You just never know where it's going to take you...
I would have never ever guessed in a million years that I would be living in small town Wyoming helping kids with their 4-H livestock projects and learning things like the difference between ewe and wether lambs.
I guess life really is like a box of chocolates.
