1. Our kitchen sink is 4 feet wide. I was curious and measured it the other day.
2. I get these ideas to make things to sell (my tile necklaces for example), but then I just end up giving them away.
3. I hate taking money from people...even if they have a lot of it.
4. I wish everyone in the world could have: 1. a warm place to live. 2. good food to eat. and 3. a loving companion.
5. I've been listening to Glee's Rocky Horror Picture Show music all week. Best 7 bucks I've spent. Go buy the CD. It's awesome!
6. Every winter my hands get so dry they crack and bleed.
7. When I was in high school, I would have to rub this gross udder butter vaseline stuff on my hands and wear gloves to bed during the winter months.
8. I am very self-conscious.
9. I over-analyze everything.
10. I don't really like social situations. I will get excited about them ahead of time, but then when it comes down to it, I always want to back out and stay home instead.
11. I have incredibly sensitive skin and it drives me berserk on a daily basis.
12. We've had a new tub, shower surround and toilet in our living room for weeks now. This bathroom remodel is driving me nuts.
13. The Christmas season is my favorite time of year. I love it all...the lights, the music, the tree. I find it all very magical.
14. I failed several classes in high school because I skipped class too much.
15. I got three 4.0s in college.
16. I went through this phase in junior high where I was obsessed with WCW wrestling. I would record Monday Night Nitro every Monday. It's pretty embarrassing and I'm SO glad it was just a phase.
17. Curtis was the first guy that I was hesitant about dating because I didn't want it to just be a fling and then us not be friends anymore. That's how I knew it was true love.
18. When Curtis and I got engaged, we had just a couple hundred dollars in savings between the two of us.
19. I was on a painting spree yesterday. I painted 8 doors plus our mud room.
20. I repainted our bedroom a couple of weeks ago...from blue to brown. I love it! Sometimes it just takes a couple of tries to get it right.
21. I wonder if Dexter and Lumen are going to hook up. I kinda hope they do.
22. I am currently reading How to Kill a Mockingbird. I am thoroughly enjoying it. That Scout, she is a funny one.
23. I'm sorta kinda hoping for a Kindle for Christmas. Any thoughts on Kindle vs. Nook?
24. I'm trying to grow my hair out these days and the progress sure seems slow goin' (...or rather, slow-growin'...ha ha).
25. I think people should be free to love and marry who they want (as long as everyone is of age and the decision is mutual).
26. I want to do something really fun for Curtis' 30th birthday...maybe a trip...I don't know, but I want to do something special. I only have a few months to plan.
27. I look forward to the day when I don't have to go to work every day....but I also worry that day will never come.
28. I love Dancing with the Stars and I can't wait to watch it tonight.
29. I have a ginormous pile of laundry on the family room floor waiting for me when I get home from work. Blah.
30. I love my blog readers more that you know!!

Spring Break and Pay It Forward Gifts
Today is the last day of Spring break...boo hoo. This break was definitely not long enough. We went to Utah to see the fam and to visit some friends. I had some free time to play, but a lot of my time was spent working. We even had to come home early so I could work some more. I can't tell you enough how excited I am for school to be done. I'm not even sure if I can last until May. I am doing some extra part-time work in addition to my full-time job. This equals about 50 hours/week doing work related stuff in addition to my 13 credits of school. Blah! I think I might sleep all summer long.

...and now for some exciting stuff:
These are necklace tiles made from Scrabble tiles. Kate, Kristin and Tawna...let me know which tile you would like. First come, first served. Let me know your choice in the comments section and then email me your mailing address at jennycheney[at]gmail[dot]com. I will mail you a necklace tile with a chain, but you can put the tile on any chain if you have one you like more than the cheap one I will be sending you. Also, I am an amateur at this, so these are not perfect...sorry. But I hope you like them nonetheless.
[The only picture from our trip to Utah...me working. And if you can't tell, this was St. Patrick's Day (hint, the green). My lappy even participated in the St. Patty's day fun.]

...and now for some exciting stuff:

>>PAY IT FORWARD
This is how it works..... The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. BUT, in order for you to leave a comment on my blog, you have to post this on your blog first. (That means that sometime during this year you will send a gift to 3 people as well.) Get it? So, the first 3 people to comment on this post will be the lucky ones! Good Luck!

>>TAGGITY TAG WITH A CHRISTMAS TWIST
Thanks to my friend, Stephanie for this fun tag!
"On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me..."
1 embarrassing moment: oh man, I'm not sure if I can come up with only 1. How about this one...a few years ago Curtis and I were watching General Conference at his parent's house. We were down in the basement, on the couch with Curtis sitting in between me and his mom. Curtis was holding hands with me AND his mom. Well, somehow he managed to switch holding my hand and his mom's hand and put our hands together (mine and his mom's). I still thought I was holding his hand and so did his mom. We didn't realize we were really holding each others' hands. We held hands for a good few minutes. The worst part about was that I started rubbing her hand with my other hand (of course, thinking it was still Curtis' hand). After playing with her wedding ring for a few seconds, I realized, "wait a minute, Curtis doesn't have a diamond wedding ring." That little rascal. It was embarrassing, but we all had a great laugh about it!
I have to tell one more embarrassing story because this one is funny. One day Curtis and I were at his parent's house sitting on the couch (yes, again...but this is when we were dating). Curtis' mom was on the rocking chair next to us reading. Curtis' dad walked by (he didn't know I was there) and farted REALLY loud. I started laughing, but I was the only one. Curtis and his mom both just looked at me like I was SO inappropriate for laughing at such a thing. Of course Curtis was dying on the inside, but didn't laugh just to make me feel silly. Curtis' mom is VERY proper, thus making it more embarrassing.
2 best friends: Curtis and my family
3 things I buy regularly: milk; bread; pizza
4 places I want to go: San Francisco; Australia; Europe; home for the holidays.
5 goals for the upcoming year: graduate college; organize my time better; save money; eat healthier; be more outgoing.
6 things most people don't know about me: I am afraid of the dark; when I'm at home, I keep the top button of my pants undone (it's more comfortable that way); I worry too much; I just started liking salad and broccoli a couple of years ago; I like Kid Rock (ha).
7 things I would never say: "No, I don't watch The Office...it's stupid." "I know, Twilight is the best, huh?!?" "What? A free shopping spree, no thanks." "I hate chocolate." "Blogging? Not my thing." "Tickets to the Ellen DeGeneres show?...no thanks." "I love cleaning and doing laundry...it's the best!"
8 things I love about the Christmas season: Focusing on the Savior and remembering Him; Christmas lights; family; wrapping present and making them look all pretty with ribbons and bows; Christmas music; delivering gifts to the neighbors; decorating the house; snuggling on the couch and watching a delightful Christmas movie with the hubby...it is the most romantic time of year, you know.
9 things I say to my kids (Curtis): "You're the best!" "I love you SO MUCH." "Babe!! Get a match!" "You are so funny." "What should we have for dinner?" "Will you scratch my back?" "What are your plans?" "Lets go to Fort Collins!" "Oh man, you're lookin' sexy today."
10 things I do a lot: Watch TV; do homework; cuddle with you-know-who; go to the bathroom (I swear I have the world's smallest bladder); blog; procrastinate; shop; tell Curtis I love him; laugh; listen to music.
11 things I would rather not live without: an awesome hubs; family; the gospel; friends; toilet paper; indoor plumbing; hot water; food; clothing (wouldn't it be funny though if we were all naked all the time?); cars; medicine.
12 people I tag: (wow, that's a lot) Melanie Y., Ruthie, Jessica, Whitney, Anne, Jana, Janice, Brandi, Tiffany, Melanie B., Lynsey, and whoever else wants to that doesn't HATE tags. :)

>>SEVEN THINGS.
I’ve been tagged by my sweet friend, Melanie. And you know I take my tags seriously, so here you go. 7 random facts about yours truly…
1. If there is a movie I like, I can watch it over and over and over again. In fact, I think I have watched Dan in Real Life about 10 times in the last couple of weeks…no joke.
2. I like to do my homework while watching TV or movies.
3. For Christmas I really, really, REALY want the Catch and Release soundtrack…Curtis, wink, wink. That’s soundtrack NOT score. :)
4. I love to write down my goals. I don’t always follow through with them, but I have tons of little notes spread all over (on the fridge, at work, in my school notebooks) of my goals. Often times when I’m bored in class, I write down my goals.
5. I’ve quit drinking caffeine, yet again. I go through phases. I stop…then I start again…for now, it’s no caffeine for me. The problem with me and caffeine is that I love soda so much, especially Pepsi, that I drink too much of it. Then when I don’t drink it, I get a major headache. Plus, one of my goals (yes, I have written this down many times) is to eat healthier…and let’s be honest…Pepsi is NOT healthy for me!
6. For one of my classes at school, I am putting on a real workshop for enhancing your self-esteem. If you are from around here, you should come. It will be fun!!
7. I’m obsessed with Curtis. I can’t get enough of him! I just love that smokin’ hot, foxy, sweet-cakes, delicious, fun, loving husband of mine!
I hope those were random enough. Now for the lucky 7 of you…I tag Kate A., Janice H., Jana Y., Brandi S., Anne R., Summer H. (to help you get started on your blog, he he), and Kristi S.

>>MY MAN
{My Man} Tag courtesy of Janice.
1. What is his name? Curtis
2. Who eats more? Curtis
3. Who said, "I love you" first? We disagree on this one. I say I did, but he thinks he did. He asked me if I loved him and I said yes, then he told me he loved me too. So, technically, he knew I loved him before I knew if he loved me.
4. Who is taller? Curtis
5. Who is smarter? Curtis…he’s a smarty-pants
6. Who is more sensitive? Me
7. Who does the laundry? Me
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? We switch off.
9. Who pays the bills? I do
10. Who cooks more? I do
11. Who is more stubborn? Probably me
12. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? We are both pretty good about admitting when we’re wrong
13. Who has more siblings? Curtis with 5 (2 sisters and 3 brothers)…I have 3 brothers
14. Who wears the pants in the relationship? We both do.
15. What do you like to do together? Pretty much everything. I love being with Curtis all the time…no matter what we are doing. One of my favorite things though is eating dinner on the living room floor and watching tv together.
16. Who eats more sweets? Definitely me
17. His Guilty Pleasures? Boobs…Oh, and scooters
19. Who asked whom out first? Curtis asked me out…we went snowboarding and I fell down the mountain the entire time....I still had fun though. Then we went to a movie and there was this girl there that knew Curtis. She ran up to him and gave him a HUGE hug, then she gave him her phone number...I was like WHAT?!? I didn't care for long though because she wrote her number on his movie ticket and it was the half of the ticket that got torn off by that guy who tears off half of your movie ticket before you can go into the theater. haha...too bad for her. ;)
20. Who kissed whom first? Curtis being the stud he is kissed me first. I believe his excuse for kissing me was that he saw a per-diddle (one head light) on the ride home. :)

- Curtis is a hard worker. He does his best and makes sure things are done right.
- He is also one of the most honest people I know. He never lies…not even little white lies.
- He is creative. He always has the best ideas, whether he thinks of a clever way to fix something, or a clever invention, or just something fun and creative for us to do around the house.
- He is a great husband and I am the luckiest girl in the world to be able to spend each day with him. I’m sure this is sounding a little like “Seriously, So Blessed” but I don’t care because it is ALL TRUE!!

>>MY VERY FIRST TAG
Thanks Melanie for the tag...my very first "official" tag! :-)
5 Bands I Listened to in High School...
(Disclaimer: I was SO NOT cool in high school)
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE listening to music. It is one of my favorite things to do. I am totally the type that listens to a song over and over and over again. I always have been. Right now the song I LOVE, and this is totally embarrassing, is Tattoo by Jordin Sparks....LOVE IT! Before that it was some song by the Smith's...I can't even remember the name of the song...but I LOVE it! Also, I totally dig the Juno soundtrack as well as the Garden State soundtrack. Great music if any of you are interested.
So, now I guess I am suppose to tag 5 people. hmmm, who to tag???
