I'm not a fan of the serious-face pictures. Especially wedding or family pics. I think a nice smile is much more pleasing.
I watched every episode of the Bachelor Pad (that one was painful to admit)
I am quite the loner.
At least seven times a day I wish that Curtis and I could quit our jobs and not have any responsibilities. This thought is usually accompanied by Miranda Lambert's Airstream song...
"Sometimes I wish I lived in an Airstream
Homemade curtains, lived just like a gypsy
Break a heart, roll out of town
cause
Gypsies never get tied down"
I've been thinking lately that Curtis and I might need a shiny new Airstream.
I haven't unpacked yet from our trip to Utah that was 2 weeks ago.
I'm listening to Miley Cyrus Party in the USA right now.
. . . . . . noddin' my head like yeah
. . . . . . movin my hips like yeah
. . . . . . i got my hands up
. . . . . . they're playin my song
. . . . . . it's a party in the USAI may or may not have found an ant in the salt shaker....now I'm worried about what is in the pepper shaker.
I am much more outgoing and social on my blog than I am in person.
When I was young, I was so worried that I was going to be a smoker when I grew up. My mom and dad both smoked, so I thought for sure that was something I would do too. It was a big concern of mine as a young girl.
Curtis and I play on a coed volleyball team. We thought we were signing up to play on the rec league...turns out it was the competitive league.
The score of one of our volleyball games last week may or may not have been 25 to 5.
As hard as I try to get into Twilight, I just can't do it. My bookmark has been in between pages 100 and 101 for a couple of weeks now.
When I was dating Curtis, I pretended to like his kind of music.
During our visit to Utah a couple of weeks ago, I ate so much watermelon that my grandma thought I was pregnant.
I'm not pregnant, just so you know I wasn't hinting at something or anything like that.
We haven't had a Christmas tree for 4 years now. By golly, this is the year for a Christmas tree!!
I'm contemplating cutting my bangs. It's an annual thing I go through....to cut or not to cut. I usually end up cutting only to totally regret it seconds later.
I'm going through a weird phase right now with sheets. I'm obsessed with them. I've bought at least 3 new sheet sets in the last couple of months. And I want more. What's going on?
***** 9 days til Dexter!!!!! *****
I think that honesty blogs are the best! I love to hear what people are really thinking. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI looooovvveeeeeee these kind of blog posts and I especially love the things you write.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I do wedding photography every now and then and I prefer the smiley pictures too but it's not "trendy" now so I have to shoot the serious face looks too. Blah. I think a smiling bride is just so much...nicer.
And Twilight sucks. Seriously. I read them years ago. It's like 5th grade writing level...there are much better teen novels out there and even better adult novels. That's all my humble opinion of course, but I guess that's just my way of saying: hey, you're not missing out on anything! :-P
I hope you guys have a good weekend!!!
PS-- THREE DAYS UNTIL THE HOUSE SEASON PREMIERE!! (I love our countdowns!!!)
Jen I love you!!... and you are just as outgoing as you are on your blog!! At least whenever I have seen you...so only shy around some maybe! SO awesome about the co-ed volleyball team!! I wish I was there to play with you two! That would be SOO fun! I would love to see Curtis when he trash talks the other team!!!
ReplyDeleteI watched Bachelor Pad too--we can admit it together :) And of course Jared thought I was lame, but I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI hate watermelon..everyone thinks I am weird because of it. It made me sick and I just can't eat it again, or anything flavored watermelon. Jared eats it then tries to kiss me- just to be funny!
I too watched Bachelor Pad and lets not forget Dating in the Dark right after. Nothing like good smut to end a night with!
ReplyDeleteYou're cute. :) I love your random thoughts. I must say, I'm a gleek too, sometimes I enjoy being a loner and sometimes not, I did read Twilight but I thought Hunger Games was much easier t get into- maybe you should read that instead! And I think your hair is cute now without bangs, but I'm sure it looks cute either way. And thanks for the Cami compliments!
ReplyDeleteAh, the admissions!! We thought they were funny...and half the time we would say, "ah, we do that too." Good luck on deciding the hair dilemma...always a problem.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I think I might have to do a post like it. Also, I just have to say...why the heck didn't we hang out in high school? I think you are awesome, even if you think you are a loner. If I ever happen to go through Thermopolis, I am hunting you down to go to lunch. (I mean that in the least freaky, stalker type way as possible) :)
