feeling blue . . .

I've been in a funk these days. Part of it is probably due to the gloomy weather, but nonetheless, I'm feeling blue. My self-esteem is down, I'm moping around the house (a very messy house) and to make matters worse, the Lakers are probably going to win the playoffs.

I need a boost . . . a transformation if you will . . . and I need your help.

What are some of your beauty secrets? What are the little things you do each day to make you feel good, feel pretty, or whatever. Any little tips are appreciated.

I don't like feeling this way.

Don't be shy and please don't keep your secrets to yourself.

Please share.

While my blog has nothing to do with me feeling down...I found this comic to be hilarious. I would never disable comments as your comments always make me happy.

AND I am afarid that we won't be going to your new hometown for our anniversary, unless you find me some really COOL things to do there!
I don't really have many beauty secrets, but I love to read comments on my blog, and I thank you for always leaving me great comments! You rock Jen!

  2. Jen, I say get a pedicure, they always make me relax and feel pretty and pampered! If you need an immediate fix though, a long hot bath is a fav for me!

  3. Ditto the pedi comment...those always help to make you feel better. I got this from a blog of a lady that is on the news here in Topeka...on the days you don't have time to shower and your hair just looks a little greasy. Take some face powder and just apply it to the roots of your hair...the grease is gone. Sounds gross I know, but it works (I've tested it). It may not be what you're looking for, but it always helps me in a bind. A little lipgloss always makes me feel good too.

  5. I was still sad when I was on lexipro, but I was going through a divorce at the time, so I guess I had an excuse.

I've been feeling down lately as well. I think it's the weather. But the thing I have been doing lately that helps me more than anything is running. Even if is it just a slow-paced jog, it makes me feel stronger and I'm more likely to face my problems without negative feelings. I highly recommend it.

  6. I think if we have a BBQ or something in the middle of the week may help look forward to something. Call me or email and we should set something up.

  7. I love to go shopping...without Ike! That always makes me smile, even if I just spend a few dollars! Coke zero takes all my blues away too!

Oh, and my favorite pick me up is getting my hair cut and colored, or buying some nice shampoo that smells very yummy!

I want to have a BBQ with you too...not fair :)

    I love that comic....so funny!
