tell it to the judge

Saturday's garage sales did not disappoint. We found this gem for only 50 cents.

It's a vintage Parker Brother's game, TELL IT TO THE JUDGE.

It's a great catch phrase, actually. Ever since we bought the game, Curtis and I are always telling each other to "tell it to the judge."

For example, if your hubby is complaining because there is no food in the house, just tell him to "tell it to the judge."

Or, if someone is complaining to you about how they are feeling blue (on their blog, perhaps) and you don't really want to hear it, just tell them to "tell it to the judge."

It's fun. Give it a try. Just don't be mean about it. There's a nice way to tell someone to "tell it to the judge," but there is also a mean way to do it. Always be nice.

Curtis should keep this game in his office at the law firm. Then when he's working with a crabby client, he can point to the game board and tell them to "tell it to the judge."

Oh, I love it!

  1. I LOVE sweet buys like that, especially when they turn into a long lasting joke.
As for feeling blue, sometimes it takes a good rut to get you feeling at the top of your game again.
When I'm feeling down, I have to take more time for myself. I take longer showers, take longer getting ready and read a book for me.
As far as "beauty secrets" I would love some for myself. But, I do love crest white strips. It has been a couple years since I've done them, and I want to do them again; but that makes a big difference. Hope you're feeling less blue. I think your great, and I love reading your blog.
