Many of you may not have thought about the dangers of blow-drying your hair while you are sleeping, so I just wanted to do my part and put this out there. I don't want any of my dear friends getting hurt:)

So, I just bought a new blow-dryer after my previous one died. This was the warning in the instructions (and I quote)...

Hilarious!! You know someone got hurt doing that and that's why they had to put the warning on there. How dumb do they think we are, honestly?? haha!

ReplyDeleteIf only I could blow dry my hair in my sleep, I absolutely dread blow drying each day. Maybe I can figure out a safe way....
That made me laugh so hard. What a great friend you are to warn everyone about this danger. I will make sure to never use this while I sleep:)

I (with a bit of hesitation due to the mockery at such a seemingly silly product warning) feel a need to comment on this particular post as I am guilty of the occasional act of using a blowdryer while sleeping. On particularly freezing days there are only two things that will warm me up . . . a hot bath or wrapping up in a blanket with my blowdryer. Then I just feel so cozy in my little cocoon of hot air that I often end up taking a nap. Nelson doesn't approve. He says something about a fire hazard but eh. It's one of my guilty pleasures. So, yes, that product warning was meant for gals like me. At least I don't take the blowdryer into the hot bath too. I have heeded that warning so far.
