>>A FEW THINGS

Winter has made its way to Thermopolis.  Our snow boots are on, our shovel is out and the cabinet is stocked with hot chocolate.  


Fellow Davis County Peeps....so sorry about the wind.  From what I hear, it came from Wyoming.  I've seen the photos and it doesn't look good....trampolines in trees, trees on cars, fences blown away.  If I was there, I would help clean up the mess.  Hope you and your homes and your cars and everything else is okay.


Happy happy birthday to my dear friend Heather!!  So sorry you are spending it in the hospital.  You are awesome and I am so glad Jake married you!!  I'm glad we are friends too.  Hope you get better and can go home soon to your girlies.

    We were going to go with a real one this year, first year we would have done so and in our new house! But we went with the fake.... real will have wait until next year.

    I have a real tree cut down from Medicine Bow last weekend. And, it's already decorated which means that I'm on the ball for once!

    We were THIS close (like, getting on our boots and heading out the door kind of close) to getting a real tree. Then we found out they were out of permits. Yes, we were going to hike around a mountain and cut one down. Sounds fun and will wait until next year. But the fake one is up, decorated and the pine candle is burning. :)

    We have a real one. Anything else is absolutely a no-go according to Ronnie. It's currently sitting in the garage with the hope that some of the snow will melt off so we can bring it inside tomorrow.

    We looked at live and fake for about 3 hours tonight and I can't make up my mind and the kids were screaming/crying and Marcus was madder than a hornet at me. And to top off the night we ended up with neither......curse my indecisiveness.

    We have a fake tree - It's just easier that way, and becuase we don't have little ones at home anymore, we're all about easy. Your CD mix looks awesome, I'd love to get a copy of it.

    I think I NEED this CD! And our tree is always fake. We want a real one, but I just love the ease of the pre-lit tree, no fire risks...easy peasy!

    JEN, thanks for the shout out birthday wish! That made my day. And I totally want this mix CD- it sounds like the perfect plethera of Christmas music! We have a fake tree that Jake just set up last night and my mom and Cami will decorate while I'm gone. I'm excited to walk in when I get home (not for a few more days) and see the beautiful sight. :)
