>>WELCOME SEPTEMBER

I love September.  When I think of September, I instantly think of fall...and I love the fall season.  Don't ya think there is just something nice and cozy (and even romantic) about fall?

Today even feels like fall.  The temperature dropped out of the high 90's and settled to a comfortable 78 degrees today.  How perfect!

Now, don't think I didn't appreciate summer....because I sure did!  I made a goal at the beginning of summer to not complain about the heat.  After all, I begged for heat and flip-flop weather during all of the spring snow storms.  So, finally in July when the sun decided to give me what I wanted, I wasn't going to complain about it.

I tried my best to relish the hot, sticky summer season...even tried to appreciate the sweat dripping off me day after day.

So, yes, summer was good to me...

BUT, now it's time to move on to the best season of all....FALL!!

I'm already looking forward to...

orange, yellow and red leaves,
crisp breezes,
cold mornings,
putting blankets back on the bed,
sweaters,
pumpkin spice candles,
college football,
tv shows gallore,
hot chocolate,
fall decor,
gettin' cozy with the hubs (remember, fall=cozy)

Bring on fall!!!

What's your favorite season?

  2. Nice tan lines! I love spring and fall, it's a toss-up. I love spring because all of the flowers start coming out, the birds start chirping again, and the days get longer. I love fall for the warm soups, delicious treats, pretty fall colors, and break from the heat. I couldn't pick one or the other!

  4. I love fall too but spring is my favorite season by far! Although, television is my favorite thing in the world so I'm surprised season premieres haven't swayed my decision! This pic of your feet is hilarious--mine look exactly like it except they have a big "X" on it from my favorite pair of flip flops.
