Wyoming Winter Roads

or aka, my hell on earth.

Don't forget about the blowing snow.  Sometimes the snow blows high in the air right at your windshield making it impossible to see.

My personal hell would be nothing but snowy, icy roads that I would be forced to drive on all day.

I'm pretty sure I've decreased my life expectancy by all the stress I have caused my body from driving on these roads.  I'm considering celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas in July so during the winter months, I won't have to leave the house.  It actually might work out quite well....a parade in the morning, presents in the afternoon, turkey, potatoes and stuffing for dinner followed by a grand fireworks display.  It just might work.

  2. JEN, OMG that video made my anxiety go up like 20 levels.

You guys need to consider a move to the South and pronto! Why anyone would live somewhere that has weather like is beyond me. South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas....all nice, warm states!

  3. Oh man, I remember that all too well. Shudder. It's been in the teens and low 20s here and I've been telling the girls "This is what Laramie was like ALL THE TIME! Be glad we moved away before you started remembering things!!" Poor Helena would not have made it, she walks around saying "I'm f-f-freezing" all day.
And to think we didn't believe the interstate would really close when we first moved there...

  4. I'm right there with you. Last Thanksgiving was our worst drive from ID to UT, at about 9 hours for a 4.5 hour drive. I hate driving to UT in the winter. I only want to go in the month of June from now on. Driving on the holidays is the pits.
