my thoughts on a Friday morning . . .

Every now and then I go through this funk where everything seems just a bit more difficult....like getting out of bed in the morning...doing the dishes...making dinner...doing the laundry...going to work...blogging...doing anything really.

You know what would be awesome?  My own eat, pray, love journey.  Oh how I would love to take a year off and travel the world with Curtis.  I want to leave everything behind and just go.  Travel.  Discover.  Do nothing.  Do everything.  And of course, lots of eating, praying and loving.  Sigh....I can at least dream.

I think tonight I will go to bed at 8:00.  If I can even make it that long.  I'm so exhausted for some reason.

Did you know that my dentist in Billings, Montana, the one who did my bone graft surgery and implant, was arrested for being part of a cocaine drug ring in Montana?  Yep, he sure did.

We are remodeling our upstairs bathroom.  When we pulled out the tub, we found an old empty beer bottle behind it.  It actually explains a lot about why that bathroom was so crappy in the first place.

The movie, Easy A, is now playing at the Ritz.  I want to see it.  I'm thinking Curtis will take me to see it...you know, like a date...a real date this time.  :-)  He really is a good, good man.

I never told you about Curtis' trial he had a few weeks ago.  It was his first jury trial...and he did it all by his lonesome...no co-council.  The other side said (out loud mind you) that it was a "slam-dunk case" for them.  Well, at the end of the day, the jury came back from deliberation and found Curtis' client not guilty on ALL 3 charges!  It was a very happy moment.  Curtis' client was so happy he started crying and gave Curtis a hug.  I was so so proud of Curtis!  He so deserved that happy exciting moment!

I can't figure out how to motivate myself to exercise.  I want to do it and I think about it a lot, but I never ever actually do it.  What is my problem?  Our treadmill is so dusty.  Maybe I just need some encouragement??

I hate student loans more than anything.  Ok, not more than anything, but I hate them a lot!!  Anyone out there want to help pay them off?  You could write it off on your taxes as a large donation.  Anyone?

You know what was really, really awesome?  The miner's rescue in Chile.  Wow.  I was just so touched and amazed and inspired and all sorts of other things over their rescue.  I wish I could give each of those miners a million bucks so they would never have to work again.

Lastly, Modern Family is the best show on TV.

Happy Friday.

Modern Family is such a good show (for me Greys is totally up there too)!
Could not agree more on the student loan front, would love that large donation too!!

  3. I would love a huge donation to pay off medical bills from the birth of Maren. It is so expensive even with insurance, but so totally worth it too!

And I need to get implants in my front teeth, not looking forward to paying for that one either! Why are things so blasted expensive??

I love too many tv shows to tell you my favorite.

  5. Eh, exercise shmexercise. You probably already go out and ride bikes with Curtis, so that's plenty. I'm the same way...I don't have a treadmill, so I don't know if I would use it (prolly not) but I rarely get the motivation to exercise. I like to count shopping and stroller walks as enough. :) Maybe we both need a good kick in the pants, I dunno. But thanks for your random thoughts- always entertaining.

  7. Go see Easy A and give us a review. I want to see it, but I'm pretty sure Brock isn't at all interested. Maybe you can talk him into it.
