current obsessions

First of all, I can't believe it's October.  Where did September go?  It's like I went to bed last night excited that it was September 1st and woke up today to discover it's October 1st.  Weird.

Now, on to business . . .

The Hunger Games Series

I know I'm behind on this trend...but oh boy...love these books!  I'm almost done with Catching Fire and then on to Mockingjay.  All I want to do is read!  Now, I've heard good and bad about the last book...please don't try to sway me either way...we can talk about it once I'm finished reading it. :-)

Miranda Lambert

Have you listened to her Revolution album?  Oh my, it's a goodie!  I love every song on the CD.

 This stuff is yummy.  Gives a bland ol' piece of lettuce some zing!

My New Electric Heater

I wish our home had a fireplace.  But, it doesn't...so no sense in whining about it.  I did the next best thing (and cheapest thing) I could think of....bought an electric heater that looks like a fireplace.  Maybe it's tacky, sure, but I like it.  Makes the living room nice and cozy for the fall and winter seasons.  (And, you hardly notice the big bulky black cord!) :-)

Fall

I love fall.  Doesn't fall just scream cozy?!?  And you know how I love all things cozy.  I love the colors, the smells, the food, the weather, the fashion, the decor, I love it all.  I'm hoping to soak it all in and enjoy it as much as I can...because I will probably wake up tomorrow to discover it's the middle of December.
