The drive up here sucked...as Curtis put it. The first half of the drive wasn't too bad, but the last 100 miles we had to drive on snow/ice covered roads at about 40 mph. It took us quite a while to get here, but we made it safely and without any incidents....thank goodness. I did really well on the drive too...I think I only freaked out a couple of times. :)

When we finally got into Billings, there was at least 12 inches of snow. It was crazy. It's been a long time since I've seen such a snow storm...even living in Laramie.
We have had an enjoyable time since we've been here. We came up a couple of days early to give us a chance to "get-a-way" from work and such and to just relax and have a nice weekend together. It has been soooo nice! I don't want to go have my surgery tomorrow and I definitely don't want to go back to the "real world" afterwards.
Tomorrow morning at 8:30 sharp, I'll be getting ready to go to la-la land. Then a short hour and a half later, I'll be waking up and probably looking like a chipmunk.
Wish me luck!
Good Luck!! I'm glad you got to have a little get away before the surgery. Take pictures of your chipmunk face, I'm sure it will be adorable.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Hope it all goes well for you. Let me know if you need anything.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing okay. It doesn't sound like a fun thing at all. Hang in there!
