>>EDWARD VS. HARRY

I have yet to cave in to the obsession and craze of the twilight books, nor do I plan on buckling anytime soon.

I do however, think the time has come to give in to Harry Potter. Let's see if all the fuss about this wizard, Harry and his hogwart friends is really all it's hyped up to be.

  1. I read all the Harry Potter books when they were all out and there wasn't such a big hoopla about it and I LOVE THEM!! It was so sad to read the last book and know that there was no more though. I found the last 2 books amazing and well worth the process!! Good luck!
P.S. I am reading Twilight at the moment, I have attempted to read the 3rd book about 3 times now and it is slow going...

  3. Ok your were right I totally gave into Twilight. It was as one of our friends put it complete literary junk food! I read them all in 7 days. And I loved them. But not crazy love like...you know what I mean. And I hope that dressing our kids up as Jacob and Edward didn't put us into that category. As I just typed that I realized that who ever reads this will die laughing. But we didn't it as a joke in a way...because people are so crazy about it...that and it's funny that they are twins and they match those two opposite descriptions. Anyhow as a long time avoider short time give-in-er I have to say go for it. They are both pretty good reads.

  4. Just don't expect great literature. Brock just read H.P. #1 and wasn't especially impressed. I liked the series.

  5. J.K. Rowling had a clever idea, and some of it is fun, but its pretty fluffy. Its good for getting people reading though.

  6. I read the 1st two Harry Potter books and still just could not get into them. Im not one who loves to read anyway, but Danny and I decided to read the Twilight series. I was hesitant because I am no fan of fiction and especially sci-fi type of stuff with dragons or vampires...hence, why I did not like HP. But, I LOVED Twilight...until the last book, both Danny and I couldnt even finish it...it was way too far fetched for me.

  7. Go for it! I never finished the HP series. Twilight is addicting yet beyond CORNY at the same time. You know you want to dream about Edward :)
