that time....

This post is better suited for my lady friends....sorry guys, but you wouldn't really understand. :-)

My uterus is throwing a temper tantrum today. He is literally kicking, screaming and cursing at me. (For some reason I think of my uterus as a "he." Is that weird?). Anyway, he is not happy and likes to cause me LOTS and LOTS of pain in the form of C-r-A-m-P-s! He puts up a good fight, even against ibuprofen and mr. heating pad. I think he is just upset because he too really wants a baby, so anytime he realizes that there is not a little baby growing inside of him, he gets really upset and takes it out on me. It's not really fair sometimes. Hopefully he will be in a better mood tomorrow.

Oh, the joys of womanhood! Any tips on how to get my uterus to be a little more friendly?

  3. I say crack open some chocolate and drown the sorrows of the mean man (uterus). I found that if all else failed I would eat some naughty foods, take some drugs, a long hot shower and a nap.

  4. I finally broke down and went to the gyno. She prescribed me some really great magic pills. If my cramps get unbearable I take one and I am usually good the rest of the time. Seriously, they are heaven sent!!

  10. My uterus has not bothered me once since I got it removed . . .

I used to get horrible cramps when I was young. A hot bath always helped me.

    Not much help, I'm sure.
