Some questions...

1. Who do you think is funnier on Family Guy: Stewie or Peter? Curtis and I disagree on this one, so I'm wondering what you guys think.

2. Should I grow my hair out or keep it short? I really can't decide. I love it short because it is so easy to do in the mornings, yet it is very hard to keep it short...I have to get it cut every few weeks (which can get expensive). I like it long too because I can put it in a ponytail, but it also takes me longer to do it in the mornings (blow-drying, straightening, curling, etc).

3. Grammar question: When something belongs to Curtis, do I write it as Curtis' or Curtis's?? I usually write Curtis' but I always wonder if I am doing it wrong. (Kristy? Shannon?)

4. How do you stay motivated to stick to your goals? Setting goals is not my problem. I set goals everyday. The problem is that I never follow through with them. I will even break my goal the same day as setting it. Kristy...how did you not eat sugar for a whole month? Jana...how do you get yourself motivated enough to run 12 miles? I must lack motivation, yet when I set the goal, I feel super motivated to follow through with it. I just give up too easily. Any suggestions?

5. When is it going to stop snowing? Seriously.

  1. 1 - Stewie for sure!
2- I like your hair both ways, I think you should keep it short though.
3- I am horrible with grammer questions. :)
4- I also set goals easily and don't stick to them.... I'm going to wait and read advice other people give. :)
5- The snow is making me mad! I'm ready for spring!
    Good questions. :)

  2. 1. I am not a fan of that show. I hope that we are still friends.
    2. I LOVE LOVE your short hair. I can never get away with a cool cut like that and yes I have tried. (about 10x to many)
    3. Curtis' I can totally relate to this. I always get a second opinion from Matt.
    4. I write my goals down. That way I have tangible evidence of my goal. I don't know why but it helps to have it starring me down each morning.
    5. It will stop snowing and feel like spring in 3 days.
(let me know if this one comes true) I just wish that I really had a confident answer for you.

  3. 1. Couldn't tell ya.
    2. Give yourself ten minutes to think out all the pros and cons, then decide and don't look back. It is super cute both ways--do what you want and if you end up changing your mind, hair always grows. :)
    3.Curtis's. Weird, I know.
    4. What motivates me is blogging about my goals, writing about them in my journal, giving myself rewards for reaching benchmarks, and the help I get from Jared. When it's a difficult goal, I need all of the above to get me there. And trust me, for every goal I reach, there are twenty I don't. The important thing is that you're setting them and working on them. Even if you give up halfway through, you've made more progress than you would have if you'd never made the goal. :)
    5. Amen!

    2. Well when you are a mom which you will be..most of them want it short so you might enjoy having it long while you can? I do like the short look on ya though so really either way is good.
    3. have you seen my grammer!!just look at that sentence its not even capitalized.
    4. you should write your goal down and put it in a place for a constant reminder...you could even make a bracelet and look at it all day to remind you.

  6. 1. Peter is definitely funnier. Stewie's bitter sarcasm robs the humor, while Peter's ignorance enhances it.
    2. You're cute either way, so if money is the deciding factor, go long. Also, you have more options every day with long.
    3. Curtis's
    4. Doing something with someone you like/love can be very motivating.
    5. We planted our garden last week!

A question for you: Whatcha think of my most recent blog? Any reactions?

  7. 1. no opinion
    2. I am going through this right now too. I usually only keep my hair short for about a year and then I grow it out again. I get bored. I love your long straight hair--but you look so good in short hair. I think it's sixes.
    3. It is correct either way--so choose the way you like best. I go with Curtis' because it looks better to me.
    4. Way back a million years ago I decided to become a runner. I started with small goals I knew I could stick with, and when I was comfortable with those steps, I'd add a little something. I think the biggest obstacle in achieving goals is to go too big with your expectations. For example, my first goal when I wanted to get into better shape was to quit drinking calories. I figured it was a fairly easy goal for me to keep. After a few weeks I could see a difference in my weight, so I decided to take it a step further and cut out snacks. Then I decided I could start running for 20 minutes three times a week, and so on and so on until I became a marathoner. Of course this was years ago, and I am no longer the runner I once was, so I suppose I need to remember those times and get back.
    5. We had snow again last night. But our radishes, lettuce and spinach are poking through the ground. That's a good sign.
