Today is my best friend's birthday.

Happy Birthday, Babe!!


My plan for the birthday cake was to make a scooter. Not just any scooter though, an awesome 3-D scooter (you know, like something Ace of Cakes would make). Well, tonight was proof that I am no Ace of Cakes. My attempt at a scooter eventually turned into this below. It's not just any bus though, it is a short bus. And boy was it a big hit. How could one go wrong with a cake like this?!?

I painted this picture for Curtis for his birthday. It is a picture of his Vespa GS.

It goes well with our entertainment center decor...don't you think? [And look what's on TV. How about that!]

  4. I love to make crazy cakes too! Although they always seem to take a new shape then your original plan. Hope he had a good birthday and we cant wait for our trip to park city ;)
