>>TAGGITY TAG WITH A CHRISTMAS TWIST

Thanks to my friend, Stephanie for this fun tag!

"On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me..."

1 embarrassing moment: oh man, I'm not sure if I can come up with only 1. How about this one...a few years ago Curtis and I were watching General Conference at his parent's house. We were down in the basement, on the couch with Curtis sitting in between me and his mom. Curtis was holding hands with me AND his mom. Well, somehow he managed to switch holding my hand and his mom's hand and put our hands together (mine and his mom's). I still thought I was holding his hand and so did his mom. We didn't realize we were really holding each others' hands. We held hands for a good few minutes. The worst part about was that I started rubbing her hand with my other hand (of course, thinking it was still Curtis' hand). After playing with her wedding ring for a few seconds, I realized, "wait a minute, Curtis doesn't have a diamond wedding ring." That little rascal. It was embarrassing, but we all had a great laugh about it!

I have to tell one more embarrassing story because this one is funny. One day Curtis and I were at his parent's house sitting on the couch (yes, again...but this is when we were dating). Curtis' mom was on the rocking chair next to us reading. Curtis' dad walked by (he didn't know I was there) and farted REALLY loud. I started laughing, but I was the only one. Curtis and his mom both just looked at me like I was SO inappropriate for laughing at such a thing. Of course Curtis was dying on the inside, but didn't laugh just to make me feel silly. Curtis' mom is VERY proper, thus making it more embarrassing.

2 best friends: Curtis and my family

3 things I buy regularly: milk; bread; pizza

4 places I want to go: San Francisco; Australia; Europe; home for the holidays.

5 goals for the upcoming year: graduate college; organize my time better; save money; eat healthier; be more outgoing.

6 things most people don't know about me: I am afraid of the dark; when I'm at home, I keep the top button of my pants undone (it's more comfortable that way); I worry too much; I just started liking salad and broccoli a couple of years ago; I like Kid Rock (ha).

7 things I would never say: "No, I don't watch The Office...it's stupid." "I know, Twilight is the best, huh?!?" "What? A free shopping spree, no thanks." "I hate chocolate." "Blogging? Not my thing." "Tickets to the Ellen DeGeneres show?...no thanks." "I love cleaning and doing laundry...it's the best!"

8 things I love about the Christmas season: Focusing on the Savior and remembering Him; Christmas lights; family; wrapping present and making them look all pretty with ribbons and bows; Christmas music; delivering gifts to the neighbors; decorating the house; snuggling on the couch and watching a delightful Christmas movie with the hubby...it is the most romantic time of year, you know.

9 things I say to my kids (Curtis): "You're the best!" "I love you SO MUCH." "Babe!! Get a match!" "You are so funny." "What should we have for dinner?" "Will you scratch my back?" "What are your plans?" "Lets go to Fort Collins!" "Oh man, you're lookin' sexy today."

10 things I do a lot: Watch TV; do homework; cuddle with you-know-who; go to the bathroom (I swear I have the world's smallest bladder); blog; procrastinate; shop; tell Curtis I love him; laugh; listen to music.

11 things I would rather not live without: an awesome hubs; family; the gospel; friends; toilet paper; indoor plumbing; hot water; food; clothing (wouldn't it be funny though if we were all naked all the time?); cars; medicine.

12 people I tag: (wow, that's a lot) Melanie Y., Ruthie, Jessica, Whitney, Anne, Jana, Janice, Brandi, Tiffany, Melanie B., Lynsey, and whoever else wants to that doesn't HATE tags. :)
