My friend Melanie did this on her blog and I thought it was a cute idea. To be honest, I hesitated to do this post for fear of no one leaving comments, but I have survived a comment-less post before...so I thought I'd at least give it a try :)
Post a comment on my blog of a memory you have about me...any memory at all...just don't be too mean :)
Looking back and reminiscing/laughing at old memories is one of my favorite things to do. I'm excited to hear the memories you may have of me.
The only memory I have is when we met you and Curtis at the Chili cook off for the law school. It was at the train depot. We shared a table. I talked to Curtis most of the time and you guys said you were from Utah...the only thing I could think of was, "Ug, more Utahns!!" hahaha, just kidding. We thought you guys were really nice and super cool...and we were happy there were other mormons there so they could tell us which chili had alcohol in it. Ah the memories.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Geoff talked Curtis into helping him fix our sprinkler system. It took a lot longer then Geoff said it would as does every project he starts. :) You were so patient and nice about it. Then we went to Corona Village and had to wait forever to get our food. I don't think we ended up eating until 9 or 10 pm. It was a long evening but I loved getting to know you.I thought you guys made a perfect couple.
ReplyDeleteJenny, I remember when we played b-ball together in Kaysville in the stake league. You have mad skills. And I was so impressed that Curtis would show up to watch some of the games.......great catch :)
ReplyDeleteToo many to leave just one, but here are a few...
ReplyDelete1. Visiting the Gough's house and you'd be sitting quietly at the table talking to Cindy. Looking back you were probably there to see Curtis.
2. You and Curtis falling asleep during almost every movie we see together. But the one that sticks out in my mind is "The Aviator" with Leo Dicaprio at the Kaysville theaters.
3. When you helped Jana make a cover for our down comforter. Thank you for that! We still use this and it has held up nicely.
What a fun idea! We have done so many fun things together in the last 6 or more years...but I remember the first time we ever hung out! It was at Curtis's parent's house after his homecoming. I remember seeing you sitting on the couch with the goughs with your eyes fixed on Curtis :) My other memory is the Halloween day we helped you guys move into your cute home. We hung out at your house that night and I think we ate quiznos or pizza, I can't remember exactly. And the last one I will write about is how cute and crafty you are. From your adorable purses, to the cute decorations you had and made in your house- you have great taste! Thinking of all of these things makes me miss you guys even more! You are so fun to hang out with and you always make me laugh. When are you moving back?!?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I really had to think back far to remember, because it has been a really long time sense I have seen you! The one of many memories I have of you is young women sports. It was so fun when our wards played each other. It made basketball more fun, knowing how the other person plays and how to stop it. In your case, try to stop you! So much fun!!
ReplyDeleteJen - I remember you coming to our house and always being so dang cute! I also remember taking Krista & you to a few hockey games..thanks for letting an old graduate hang out with you high school kids!
ReplyDeleteThe memory that I have of you is at church. I was happy to see someone as small as I was and I could compline to you that being called small or skinny is that the same as calling someone fat. I know it is a werid memory, but that is my first one.
ReplyDeleteI've thought of a couple...
ReplyDeleteThe first one I wasn't there for but I remember how hard you guys laughed about it... so hopefully you'll remember it.
*You, Autumn & Zjani went to an Honors society dinner and somebody (I'm pretty sure it was you) tried to cut your cherry tomoato and squirted someone else.
I hope I didn't slaughter that memory... it was the best I could do not being there.
*Watching WWF, you were so obsessed with Shaun Michaels (in turn I became obsessed) and we would take turns being "married" to him in our notes.
*Eating spagettios and olives. Then recording ourselves doing really weird things, like delivering those babies from the stuffed animal.
*All of your different crushes.. we would roller blade past so many houses, and then you'd be too chicken to stop. :)
That's what I've got right now. Good memories. :)
Hey, I've been wondering how you get your blog list to show updates? That's cool.
I love that you always have something cute on and when I ask you where you got it you tell me that you made it. That has happened more than once.. And I loved the time that you and Curtis came over and we just hung out and talked. Not to mention that I loved when you made my boys little beanies. You have a gift!
ReplyDeleteI remember when I invited you over to scrapbook during the Priesthood session of conference one year but we didn't actually scrapbook...we just talked :) I am sooo excited you guys are coming to Utah when I will be there!! Yay!!
