The other day, Curtis noticed a few birds hanging out around his truck. He went to inspect what was going on and it seems as though a family of birds have made one of the rust holes their new home. Curtis removed the nest only to have the birds rebuild it the next day. Every day Curtis removes a bunch of twigs and grass from the hole. The darn birds just won't give up. We are just worried about a bird laying eggs in there and then us driving the truck away and destroying all the eggs. Otherwise, we would just leave the nest alone. It makes for a funny story though.
Jen, we had the same problem in our front door in Laramie, everyday we would take it down and by morning they would have it back again!! It is kind of sad but you just don't want them to be harmed but they don't understand that. Crazy birds!!! Lisa
ReplyDeleteLisa- We have a bird living in the overhang of our front porch. Its annoying because the dang bird poops all over our porch. We also have a family of birds living in the electrical box by our back door.
