>>5 THINGS

What was I doing 10 years ago?
Let's see, 10 years ago would have been 1998. I would be a day away from turning 15, and I'm sure I just couldn't wait!! I was in 9th grade which was my transition year from tom-boy to young lady. I was exploring make-up, fashion, and oh yes...boys! I was having a blast with my best pal, Stephanie Moyes. We were enjoying all the crazy things kids our age enjoy...including rollerblading past our crush's house a million times just hoping he might be outside and we could stop and talk to him....(Zane was his name). The funny thing is though, if he ever was outside, we were too nervous to stop so we would just keep on rollin. Silly girls we were indeed.

Another funny thing I was doing 10 years ago was watching wresting. Oh yes, I watched WCW wrestling religiously...embarrassing, I know. If I knew I wasn't going to be home for Monday Night Nitro, I would record it. I guess I wasn't quite out of my tom-boy phase. Anyway, it brought my good fun and it was a nice way to spend time with my brothers. We would always talk about the matches afterwards and predict what would happen the next week.

What was I doing 5 years ago?
Five years ago Curtis and I would have been married for a few months now. I was loving my new life as a wife to the hottest guy around. We were renting a little one bedroom condo in Bountiful from Curtis' brother Clark. I loved the condo and I was enjoying decorating it with all our new wedding gifts. I was busy learning all sorts of new stuff such as how to grocery shop, how to cook, and how to manage our money to be sure we could pay our rent.

I worked at Cutler's Sandwiches in Kaysville and I was going to school at Salt Lake Community College. Curtis also worked in Kaysville, at Parts4Biz and was going to school at Weber State. We were both happy as clams!

5 Things on my to-do list today:
1- Turn in my research paper that is due today.
