It's been a while, hasn't it?  I guess I've been a little busy lately.  Here is a brief rundown....

We finished our bathroom...woohoo!!  Choosing a paint color was tough, but in the end, we decided to stick with a nice clean white color. 

As you can see, the floor and vanity are quite dark, so the white is a nice contrast.

We also re-painted our basement bathroom.  It is very blue but a fun bright color for the basement.  I bought a twin flat white sheet from walmart for $5 for the shower curtain.

When not working on the house, I'm working on 4-H stuff.  We did a fundraiser playing Donkey Basketball.  I tell ya, small town life is really something.  A dozen donkeys were hauled into the High School gym where 4 teams competed to the be the Donkey Basketball champions.  What a hoot!  A bit redonkulous though.  (I had to say it.)  I forgot my camera so I used the picture from the newspaper so I could show you what a fun time we had.

 

I just finished up my Photoshop class.  For our final project, we had to use several things we learned from class and add text that was a lyric to a song.  We then had to post our picture to the class facebook wall so our classmates could see what we did and comment on it.  So, just for fun, I decided to go one step further and make a little video.  This is what I posted for my final project...

And guess what?  Not ONE. SINGLE. COMMENT.

 

Lastly, this picture is for Katie.  (yes, you Katie-cakes!)  This picture was actually taken this morning on my way to work.  Cream soda, check.  Wheat bread, check.  Car keys, check.
